Working principle of corn cob dryer:
The corn cob dryer adopts the mixed flow dryer. The mixed flow dryer uses hot air as a hot medium to dry grain. Its interior is mainly composed of corner ventilation boxes arranged alternately. The corner box is full of grain and grain flows from top to bottom. The hot air enters by the inlet corner box, and passes through the grain layer from top to bottom. The exhaust gas is discharged through the exhaust corner box. The hot air flows with the grain flow both in the same direction and in the opposite direction, which is called mixed flow. When hot air passes through the grain layer, the heat and moisture transfer from the grain: hot air turns the heat to grain, makes the temperature rise, the grain is heated up, the moisture is evaporated into the air, and the exhaust is discharged. The drying hot grain flows down to the slow Su section, and the temperature and moisture content of grain layer tend to balance through the slow section to achieve uniform precipitation. The grain enters the cooling section after slow down, after cooling, the grain is cooled down to the grain storage temperature, and then discharged by the grain draining section.
